2. Account Registration

Users must create an account using accurate, up-to-date information.

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality and security of their login credentials.

The company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of terms.

3. Use of Services

Oto offers a platform that connects users with third-party drivers for transportation services.

Booking is subject to availability, and Oto does not guarantee the fulfillment of any booking.

Users must comply with local laws while availing of the services, including wearing seat belts and adhering to traffic rules.

4. Payment Terms

Users can pay via cash, Oto Money (wallet), or other available online payment methods.

Payments are inclusive of applicable taxes.

Fare estimates provided at the time of booking are subject to change based on actual ride conditions like traffic, tolls, or route deviations.

Oto reserves the right to charge cancellation fees if a booking is canceled after the driver has been assigned.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation charges may apply if users cancel after a booking is confirmed.

Refunds for cancellations, service disruptions, or incorrect charges are processed at the company's discretion.

6. User Obligations

Users must behave respectfully and avoid misconduct with drivers.

Carrying hazardous or illegal items, as well as engaging in illegal activities during rides, is prohibited.

Users must promptly report any safety concerns or disputes with drivers to Oto's support team.

7. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must provide clean and well-maintained vehicles.

They must comply with local transportation and traffic laws.

Drivers are independent contractors and are not Oto employees.

8. Liability Limitations

Oto is not liable for delays, cancellations, or non-availability of services caused by third-party drivers.

In case of disputes, Oto’s liability is limited to a maximum of ₹1,000.

The company does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its platform or services.

9. Termination of Service

Oto reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violating terms, misuse, or fraudulent activities.

Users can delete their accounts at any time by contacting Oto’s support team.

10. Privacy Policy

Oto collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Personal data may be collected to provide seamless services, including ride bookings, customer support, and promotional offers.

Data shared with third-party vendors is restricted to what is necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, or marketing purposes.

Users can request access, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting Oto's support team.

All data handling practices comply with applicable data protection laws in India.

11. Notices

All official notices or communications to users will be sent to the registered email address or through the mobile app.

Users are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate and up-to-date.

Any notices from users to Oto must be sent via the official support channels or as specified in the app.

Notices are deemed delivered within 24 hours of being sent electronically or posted on the platform.
